Paper Abstract:      In e-learning, the conceptions of learning (CoLs) of stakeholders such as learning management systems designers and users are important, because their activities are guided by the nature of these conceptions. While it is a challenge to measure human conceptions as such, a method based on the semantic differential was developed to study designers’ and content producers’ CoLs. A web-survey was used for collecting data from 46 organizations. Differences between stakeholders’ CoLs were found in the data analysis.A method based on the further application of the semantic differential can be predefined into a collection of techniques and a set of rules for presenting information about conceptions.
